Standardization of pilot training within the Long Airside Flight Training of Professional Aviation is achieved by the use of the Private, Instrument, and Commercial Training Course Outlines (TCOs).
Flight training consists of two main components – ground school and flight instruction – and Long Airside Flight Training will provide the strong foundational knowledge and skills you need. In ground school, students learn information that all pilots need to know, such as basic aerodynamics, FAA regulations, aircraft systems, navigation, weather avoidance, stall/spin awareness, and radio communications
Flight instruction consists of three stages:
Pre-Solo & Flight Maneuvers: Students learn the fundamentals of flying, including normal aircraft operating procedures, flight maneuvers, and how to handle basic emergencies. Once the instructor deems you safe, you will conduct your first solo flight.
Cross-Country Flight & Night Flight: You will learn the skills required for planning and executing cross country flights and be exposed to a variety of conditions, such as flying at night and in and out of different types of airports/airspace.
Test Prep & Checkride: We will help you put together everything you have learned and practice any weak areas to ensure that you are prepared and confident to successfully complete your FAA test and checkride, and apply for your Private Pilot License.

Standardization of pilot training within the Long Airside Flight Training of Professional Aviation is achieved by the use of the Private Private Pilot Certificate Course Outlines (TCOs).
This TCO outlines the training required by Part 61 or 14 CFR 141 to achieve the proficiency specified in the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS). Is prescribes the course content, instructions to conduct the training, and the approximate time necessary to successfully complete all requirements.
Long Airside Flight Training, each TCO is divided into a Ground Training Syllabus and a Flight Training Syllabus. Ground training lesson times will be divided as appropriate to fit a normal college class schedule.
Flight times indicated in the Flight Training Syllabus are planned times. Individual lesson times may be reduced or increased. Cross-country times will be, at minimum, those specified in per Part 14 CFR 61 or 141.
The final totals (dual and solo) will be no lower than those listed in the applicable Appendix to Part 61 or 14 CFR 141:
