  • Professional Pilot Programs

    The program is oriented toward the student who wishes to make a career as a Professional Airline Pilot.
    The syllabus is designed to prepare you for the practical demands of professional flying, Professional Pilot Program teaches in an environment on meeting industry standards.
    Pilot training courses are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under 14 CFR, and general aviation training under 14 CFR Part 61 or 141.
    The student will obtain the knowledge, skill and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for and airline transport pilot certificate with an airplane category rating.
    Training courses utilize the latest instructional systems and techniques that take full advantage of training equipment which duplicates or simulates operational facilities and the field environment.

    Standardization of pilot training within the Long Airside Flight Training of Professional Aviation is achieved by the use of the Training Course Outlines (TCOs).

    This TCO outlines the training required to achieve the proficiency specified in the Airman Certification Standards (ACS). Is prescribes the course content, instructions to conduct the training, and the approximate time necessary to successfully complete all requirements.

    Long Airside Flight Training, each TCO is divided into a Ground Training Syllabus and a Flight Training Syllabus. Ground training lesson times will be divided as appropriate to fit a normal college class schedule.
