Flight Simulator, Basic ATD (BATD) or (AATD)– Provides an adequate training platform and design for both procedural and operational performance tasks specific to the ground and flight training requirements for Private Pilot Certificate and airplane instrument rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, per Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Aircraft flight – Provides an adequate training platform for both procedural and operational performance tasks specific to the ground and flight training requirements for Private Pilot Certificate, Airplane Instrument Rating Pilot, Commercial Pilot Certificate, and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Prep, and Flight Instructor Certificate. per Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 141 or 61.
An airplane instrument rating permits you to fly without visual references to the ground, horizon, and other landmarks. You will be able to fly through clouds, rain, fog, etc., all of which restrict visibility. This skill is particularly useful when you fly long distances, which can be difficult without encountering weather systems requiring instrument pilot skills. Similarly, time critical flights may be possible only under instrument flight rules (IFR) due to adverse weather conditions.
Flight training is a course of study used when learning to pilot an aircraft. The overall purpose of primary and intermediate flight training is the acquisition and honing of basic airmanship skills. Flight training can be conducted under a structured accredited syllabus with a flight instructor at a flight school or as private lessons with no syllabus with a flight instructor as long as all experience requirements for the desired pilot certificate/license are met. Typically flight training consists of a combination of two parts: Flight Lessons given in the aircraft or in a certified Flight Training Device Ground School primarily given as a classroom lecture or lesson by a flight instructor where aeronautical theory is learned in preparation for the student's written, oral, and flight pilot certification/licensing examinations
